Shame the new E20 service isn’t offering Baillieston as a stop I think it would have been popular.

Might seem a daft one but do you think JMB travel or a quality local operator such as WCM might be interested? They will no doubt put in alot more time and effort than Stagecoach now will.

Why is there so much on the move at the moment? Are first Scotland east to receive new buses to replace the lost 6y enviro 400s?

The 13 service to baillieston will be hourly and take a circular route round baillieston along the Main Street, down south Scott street and back up muirhead road, passing the back of Morrison’s and round and down to Coatbridge. Not too sure how this will work out for them at such a low frequency.

Anyone any idea where I can get the new 13 timetable to include baillieston?

60 might be looking at refurbished buses like the 61 then!

Must be quite a chunk of the allocation of e400mmcs coming to cover all of the 38! It would be good to see the 60 get the upgrade though as it’s crying out for it. Even if the buses that are pushed off the 38 are refurbished for it then it would be a huge improvement on the alx400s.

Agreed any route could be up for grabs with these buses! The city version makes sense for the 500 perhaps slightly cheaper to make up for the higher spec they will no doubt order alongside it. This also comes with a posh looking glass staircase that first tend not to get for their buses unlike...

I believe the bext batch of 75 buses in 2019 will upgrade the 60 (which has been mentioned) and no doubt other services running into the city.
