Word of advice, I would suggest calling recruitment awful/terrible as a bad idea. Especially as you're applying for another role for them.
So far TfW recruitment know....
You're a current employee who was: Shortlisted on the 11/10/22
Replied to their email after 43 minutes
Requested an...
No mate, didn't get asked to do anything like that.
Fill out a form or two of your medical history, do a basic eye test, colour blind test. Height and weight along with a hearing test and ECG and that's pretty much it.
Congratulations!
There's not really any preparation that can be done for the computer tests so all I'd really advise you do is be fully prepared for the MMI. You already know your answers so just learn them and be prepared to go into detail for each one using the STAR method.
It's a relaxed...
Well done for making it through the process!
I also received a phone call off a mobile number informing me of a job offer, pending a successful medical and reference check. I then had confirmation of my medical via email a few days later.
The email only came after I'd spoken with TfW...
Just beware....if you've got a bit of a hairy chest they dry shave you for the ECG!
Heed my warning and do it yourself to avoid a nasty scrape...literally
Absolutely go for it!
I've also just committed to leaving a stable job for a trainee driver position, and although the situation at present is uncertain to say the least, the opportunity may never arise again.
Congratulations!
Great to hear someone else on hear is starting on the November course as well! Hopefully there are others who have, or will soon have a start date too.
I was genuinely shocked to be given a start date this year, though it would be next year for sure as I'd heard there are...
Aaah right, I didn't realise they had people waiting in a pool from last year, that's fair enough.
Yes mate I'm in the pool, I applied in March. I think they might be placing the odd person from this year's recruitment onto these courses as well.
Were you in a pool from last year then?
Just what I was told from someone who works there.
In my DMI they said there was a course in October, then another starting early next year and didn't mention one commencing in November, which is now scheduled to happen.
I took this as confirmation of what I was told was true and that...
The October course has been pushed back to November so there's still time to get medicals in along with your average notice period.
Just hoping these new spikes of the virus don't interrupt matters once again. There's also the possibility they plan on doing classroom lessons via Microsoft...
I was told at the beginning of my MMI that the pass mark required was standard.
Good luck tomorrow! And regarding your question about the MMI, it's very relaxed and as long as you know your answers you'll be fine I'm sure.
Congratulations!
Feels great to know you've passed all the tests and you can't do anything more now.
It took about 3 days to get confirmation via email I'd been placed in the pool so I'm sure you'll hear any day now.
Hi, has the person you know who has passed everything, only just heard back and been booked in for their medical? If so, when did they first apply? Cheers!
Informed me I'd passed the interview on a Friday, also asking for my NI number, then asked me to attend paper assessments via email the following Tuesday.
