Managed to ride it and it was very tired and unhealthy. It kept getting jammed into certain gears and was very slow on hills

I wonder how they sound, unfortunately won’t be able to get a ride until after lockdown

A similar problem with reliability of wells’ Enviro 400s has been occurring aswell. Wells’ 12 plate Enviro 400s started off being really good, much better than the Streetdecks, but then the 14 plates came along throughout lockdown and the past couple months, they started off ok but not great...

That is true although my 173 was pretty busy due to it being an afternoon run

Having ridden both SM65 LNC and SM65 GGE they are both for some reason much better and much quicker than the P&R streetdecks and the old MendipXplorer ones. I had LNC on the 173 today and it shot up dunkerton and on flats it accelerated rather fast, around the same speed as a b9tl and a non Euro...

Ever since those Euro 6 upgrades Wells’ Enviro 400s have been terrible for reliability and speed. Only a couple actually reach a reasonable speed on hills. A few are also off the road aswell such as SN12 ADZ. Our B9s aren’t doing too well either at the moment with WX58 JXU being in Bath and WX58...

Caught this today! It was actually quite quick surprisingly! 1598380632 Also caught this one, not as quick but still nice. The interior was very dirty inside of this one though with lots of dead flies and some bird poo on the back seat.

Does anybody know when WX54 XDF 66720 will return to Wells? From what I know it has been operating in Bath over the last couple days.

I caught that today on the 376 and it did well, that particular scania has an annoying creak at the rear of the lower deck which is really irritating but overall it was quick, passengers seem to like the comfy Lazzerini seating and charging ports. It was a very enjoyable ride and I wouldn’t mind...

From what I saw this morning 69444 is still on loan to Wells since Monday, I’m surprised it has stayed this long!

That’s good they are increasing the amount of available seats as that’s kinda what happens now anyway when people don’t want to abide by the rules. Hopefully it will reduce the amount of full buses significantly.
