As is Old Oak Common, where works are actually time critical due to planned blockades (even if they were moved by a few years).
In general Mark Wild statements are just meaningless waffle. He is stalling while politicians decide annual funding envelope. Progress along the route in many places...
In this country we spend more money and time on "feasibility" studies, consultations and all sort of other paperwork than some other countries spend on actual rolling stock production or infrastructure construction.
Roll on "consultation nation".

I have seen some activity from south London MPs (like Liam Conlon) lobbying for approval in the media. They might not feel confident if they need to do that...

I still can't get over the fact they are not installing the air conditioning. These are some of the hottest units on a hot days, worse than the Networkers, where window openings are larger and where there are more of them.

I agree. They are just replacement trains (and years overdue). Of course they are an improvement but that's hardly exceptional or unexpected when replacing a 50 years old junk.
