Heritage locomotives aren't all they are preserving, they are also ensuring the continuation of old skool mysogyny. The ELR surely relies on grants/benefits from the local councils and/or the Lottery - I hope those bodies are made aware of what's gone on.

Anyone know what happened to the Hymeks? I was there on Friday, and 7018 seemed to be out of action. I saw 7017 on the tail of one service, but it wasn't timetabled in the end to lead any train as far as I could see. The original website timetable had them doing way more.

It was a joke really. It _is_ expensive, but a full oil change to engine, two diffs, gearbox, etc - it's quite a lot of work. Toyota set the prices for the servicing. One could use an unofficial dealer, but using the official ones extend the warranty for up to ten years - which isn't to be...

Is that AWD? 375 would be a lot through the front wheels! You can feel weight. I test drove a Cupra Born "electric hot hatch" and quite enjoyed it, but it certainly made its weight felt - nearly 2t for a Gold/Fiesta/308 size car :( PS If you'd really like to try the GRY, I'm about to have one...

Technically it was 208PS rather than 208hp, but they're close to the same thing. Then I had a 308 GTi which was 270. Down to 261 for the GR Yaris I use now, but it's pretty lightweight by modern standards despite the heft of the AWD system, so it trundles along nicely :)

That was the 208 GTi as of 2016. The newer model 208 doesn't have a "hot" version, nor does the 308 any more. It's a shame, I have a long and happy history with Peugeot hot hatches.

I was similarly annoyed that my Peugot 205 had a 1.9L engine rather than a 0.5L motor. :) Though my Peugeot 208 did indeed have a 208hp engine, so maybe they got back on track that way!

If it matters which circles you're in, then you made their point that it's not "ANY" :) 1661818320 I liked the limiters on my Peugeots and it's a shame I don't have one on my current Toyota. _Hold_ the up/down and your Pug should move in 5mph increments if it's like my 208 and 308 were.
