    What activity is there on the railway on Christmas Day?

    About 20 years ago that now at Chippenham. Can remember Dad driving us there on Christmas Day to have a look. Was bigger than replacing a bridge. A new bypass was being built and the line at that location runs along a built up bank. So lines removed, part of the bank removed, bridge inserted...

    [Trivia] Two routes to London

    If you do, you get very wet!! How about Melksham? Depart north to Chippenham and then GWR to London Padd, or depart south to Trowbridge and SWT to Waterloo.
