    269 is out for a while after it's accident at the Gyle. Other than that it's just scheduled maintenance. The Robbie Williams concert you're likely to see them all out.

    Does anyone know what route the old 80/80a took to get to Birkenside? I know it wasn't via Mayfield or the route the current 29 takes, as it served dalkeith centre, but other than that I'm at a loss.

    The 78/79 was then replaced with the 88 Rosewell - South Queensferry and the 89 was introduced Birkenside to Silverknowes at the same time. I lived in Gilmerton at the time and it was a combined 10min service to town. This would have been around the time of the 'bus war' with lothian.
