According to the gov website non union members are allowed to join the strike as long as it is an official one. Last section on this page.

I'm wondering if the reason that the berths have never been fitted with normal 3 pin sockets is down to the fact that there is running water supplied to the hot and cold flushing toilet (sink).
As similar as all the Dellner and scharfenberg type couplers are how many of these have pass through of the brake pipe and main reservoir pipes? Or how many require suitable TMS link ups from the controlling unit and even then in a 'recover' situation if the unit is 'sat down' does it still...

123trainmad456, are you aware of the potential bill you could face from the train company if you camera was to strike and damage the underside of the train?
HST are normally set up by the driver to supply ETS from the rear power car for a couple of reasons;
- if the rear power car shuts down they can then enable the ETS in the leading cab. There is no ability to turn it on remotely, only off.
- also when the ETS is running the power car is...
