Most of the units in Holyhead are Ertms for the Cambrian, theres 2-3 failures there in storage, Somehow they are not allowed to use them until the 158 units are withdrawn, So at the moment they swapped in and out of service,

Interviews were held in chester 3 weeks ago , I believe there is at least 7 for Holyhead and a similar number for Junction, Ive spoken to 3 people in the holyhead Pool that had their confirmation a few days after the interview.
That list is wrong as thers a recent intake been about 4 weeks ago for The North, Holyhead and Llandudno Junction have now at least 10 in the pool, Not sure So how correct it is for other depots though.
Yes you can change your answers. If your successful in the computer tests you will be given your original questions sheet back and given a short amount of time to read over the questions again and change any answers if you decide to.
Just picked this up from a closed thread regarding the Trainee driver hours possibly reduced in the recent pay award, This was part of one of T&C apparently Does anyone know if this was agreed that the training hours would possibly be reduced for some stations?

Personaly I would say that The real test is much easier than The Clip you posted, Tones are way slower and generally more mixed up,
Easier said than done but don't overthink whats ahead of you. If its in you .. you will pass the tests..
The only practice you will benefit from is the Group...

thanks for that info. Looks like I may be scraping through the tolerance on the 2k as a recent test had me at 40db in both ears. 500 and 1k were fine with 20db .. wait and see I suppose..
What is the current railway standard hearing threshold for Drivers at present?
Ive seen on the forum some quotes for 30-35db and others state is 40-45db. Is there confusion in this figure or difference between Train Drivers -Guards and track working?

curious as to if any one knows the conductor shift patterns and routes difference if any for Holyhead and Llandudno junction are the same , IE. start times/ end times , routes covered ect. What would your preferred Depot be to be based at and Why?
