I made it to Piccadilly with 5 minutes to spare and then had to call HR so that someone could collect me from the concourse. Not the best start before being interviewed.
I see that they are advertising the Buxton role again so maybe I wasn't the only one who was unsuccessful.
Congratulations. I had an interview for the Buxton vacancy but was unsuccessful.
The email I received invited me to an interview at 1pm at Buxton. NR HR called me at 11.30 to say it was at Manchester Piccadilly and not Buxton.
Swot up on what you know about NR and also prepare some answers...
Meeting with some friends today in Macclesfield and they are coming from Blackrod, Stone and Crewe. No end of delays and cancellations resulting in what was a 2.30 meet now being anything up to 4pm. I feel really sorry for any commuters caught up in this.

No news yet but I've just checked the jobs available at Arriva and the job I was interviewed for is advertised again so I'm getting the feeling I've been unsucessful as why would they advertise it again if I had been successful?
Having read other peoples experiences on here I know that the course dates and only guidelines and not to be taken too seriously.
If I do get offered a position and pass the medical I would not quit my current role until I had a start date in writing as I don't want to be in a position of being...

I was asked how much notice I have to give and courses running in late January and February were mentioned.
We are aware of an issue with emails from the Forum to Microsoft-based email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live.com email addresses). This is being looked into currently, thanks for your patience meanwhile.
