I really cannot understand WHY that driver thought it was ok to go under there? There have been huge dayglo warning signs there for ages, no buses go under there, and the bridges even look very low. Well deserved, and shocking that someone who could drive into that bridge ever worked as a lorry...

The issue is nearly everything is unit operated these days which is not flexible in terms of adding and removing single cars in a short timeframe. When everything was loco hauled carriages got swapped and changed far more often and quickly.

Perhaps they will replace the remaining class 315s and 317s?

If you could get a data feed of the loadings measured from onboard sensors then it would be possible.
