Completely agree, especially during peaks a lot of south side residents choose the 3 over the 38 and 57 as there’s no driver changeovers to worry about at eglinton toll
I don’t stay in the area. So I'm not sure about the route, logistics and success of each route.
The reason I asked is that there seems to be a lot of moaning about the network, the reliability, and the need for change.

With the diversions coming to an end soon, would First ever consider permanently rerouting the X4 or even the 1C/D through the current diversion route?
I would hazard a guess, it has something to do with the Scotrail strike. The loading may be busier than usual and the traffic heavier. However that is me guessing.
You are correct it used to run to the old pollok centre and interchanged with the old 48 there.
When the 48 was scrapped it ran to pollok centre before being extended replacing the 22 on the silverburn to Braehead via penilee route
