I really have no idea what to expect any more. I was offered a driver role for the Woking depot at the back end of February last year. Onboarding completed and then COVID hit. Had a call from SWR end of March saying they had frozen training. So I had 2 options. Be employed by SWR and stay...
This is all very worrying. I'm meant to start with SWR on 30th March, but having spoke to recruitment over the last few days they're now unsure if it will still go ahead or not. They're unable to advise, at this time, what will happen if the training doesn't go ahead or what would happen if it...
Hi all,
I've just been invited for an interview for Woking, however I've recently passed all the assessments and interviews for another TOC and I am currently loitering in their talent pool.
I'm in two minds about this as I am unsure if I should attend the interview or put all my eggs in one...
Yea mine is still showing submitted. I've only done the questionnaire (last Friday) and I haven't been invited to do the pre-assessment.
Either I screwed up the questionnaire or Maidenhead isn't a high priority yet as that section of the line doesn't open until December next year.
Are these pre-assessments standardised across the rail industry? For example is it a Visual Search Exercise for SWR?
I did my assessments in back in June. However if I now fail this pre-assessment will it affect my chances with another TOC?
Got an email through today! :D In future, listen to ThatGuy. <:D
What I'm quiet interested in is knowing what are the purposed routes (or segment of the Elizabeth Line) each depot will cover?
Yea I know recruitment with TOCs is a drawn out process. Its just disheartening to hear that other applicants are hearing back straight away and I still haven't heard anything back. Yea I know "No news is good news" but it does play with you head a little bit lol.
:( oh no. Really sorry to hear that. :(
I don't have access to my personal emails until I get home. Which is something I'm not looking forward to checking now :(:(
Hey everyone. I applied for Staines a few weeks back but still waiting for a yay or nay myself.
Just out of interest, does anybody know what routes each of these depots cover?
