Hope this explains it for you:
It basically means these two will become brands rather than fully separate operators per se. Though from the public’s point of view, they’ll still look separate.
Therefore the legals should read Lothian Buses Limited T/A Lothian Country from the date of the...
It is planned to, yes.
Looking at it logically. There’s little need for the 68 to be serving West Craigs also once the 31 and 32 finally pick it up. Provided the 32 could pick up the short stretch up to Turnhouse, the 68 may as well go straight from the Gyle to the eastern half of Craigs Road...
I was told earlier it was them all. Curious to see what’s happening with them next. Will my X7 prediction actually happen?
The Aberhill MAN engined E400’s should all be at Arbroath also having been withdrawn. All of Dunfermline’s Scania’s except for 15180-186 have moved to Aberhill.
The last...
Seems to be a growing way of doing things across the industry. It is clever.
I figured 75/76 would continue to interwork with one bus with 76A coming off 73?
The E19 is complete overkill anyway. It’s one of a few of Ember’s dafter ideas.
The 902 is probably going to lose out if the E19 sticks. I wouldn’t think the X19 nor the 72 is related in any way to these.
That’s a tad confusing. Wonder what the rationale is behind dropping from four per hour to three on that corridor, with two of the three journeys basically at the same time?
Does feel like a drop in overall requirement also? Wonder if 74 will be single deckers? 72/73 to be fully E400EV’s? 10483...
It was always pretty pointless as it didn’t actually terminate down there. At that time the 29 had a 20-25 minute layover outside the Club House, so you had to sit on the bus for that duration before you got anywhere or hope the previous bus hadn’t left which allowed you to swap onto it. So...
It’s probably an over exaggeration of A (the demand) to facilitate B (the lack of resources).
Given ECB’s tight resources. Just further proves how silly the X4 really was.
I think it looks as if the NightBuses are all being Central run again, as the N1 now does a full loop every night as well. The N31 also returning to the city, again.
Believe it or not taking it out saves about 3 minutes each way. The 17 is horrendously unreliable so anything that helps goes a long way. The demand is tiny.
