Depending on how many people will be with you, it might be interesting to make a regional railcard. From what i could gather, it seems to cost 30 € and it will allow you and 3 other people to make the Bernay-Paris trip for half the regular price on week ends.

If anyone in the UK wants to do a day trip in France with this ticket but going farther than Calais, you could use the GrandTER card. It is available to all for 7€, can be used for a full year (can be made in 5 minutes at Calais-Ville station). That card can be used every Saturday/Sunday...

Hmm, well, that's why i asked first, seemed a bit too good to be true, and i didn't want to do it before asking :) . You have to understand, it's a bit hard to understand with so many type of tickets.

I see, i didn't know there were rules like this one, forcing you to go all the way. It's just that i was checking different journeys, and i'm having a hard time finding logical that the farther you go, the less you pay in that case. Also, yes, the non HS1 ticket would be a bit cheaper...

I think i understood most of it, thanks, even if i had to reread the part about fare 3 times. About the ticket I think i got what the problem is. The 20£ ticket is to Victoria, while the 30£ ones are to London Terminals or Zone 1-6. So my bet is that the supplement won't work with the Victoria...
