The data wont show split ticketing. Hull itself wont be the final destination for many passengers as many people will be travelling to Bridlington with a simple change at Brough.
Very disappointing news with the service being split at Leeds. Once again Bradford being let down by having direct services to major cities like Hull disappearing.
The 195s are absolutely awful. In my opinion they should be partially rebuilt with end gangways, better seats,USBs fitted,an extra toilet on each unit and of course work done on the bogies to improve the ride quality. Although awful they do have great acceleration and are very reliable.
I regularly travel from Bingley to either Carnforth or Carlisle and in my opinion there does seem to be more people travelling compared to pre Covid.
The trains over the Settle to Carlisle line have been absolutely packed because Northern don't seem to be running as many 4 car sets and instead 2...
The 2145 Ribblehead to Leeds does have some traffic between Settle and and Long Preston/Hellifield but only on a weekend from what I've seen.
The 2013 Carlisle to Leeds is very useful for passengers going to Manchester Airport if there is major disruption on the West Coast Main Line and ticket...
Ive travelled many times from Leeds to Carlisle and Morecambe on 142s and 144s.
During the 90s it was quite common to see 156 and 14x combo, particularly on Saturdays.
Back then the Settle to Carlisle was mostly jointed track which made for a lively ride on a Pacer!

I really am coming to the conclusion that those in charge at Metro and Bradford council have never used a bus or haven't used a bus for many...
I've just been onto the Metro website to download a map of the city centre bus stops from the 14th of April when major changes to bus stops take place.
The map appears to only give information about the departure point bus stops like Nelson Street but doesn't show where the buses will stop...
I recently did a 14 day all line rover so I travelled on quite a few different types of train.
On the 21st of February I boarded 385115 at Haymarket on a late running service to Glasgow Queen Street. I was sat in first class and could not believe the ride quality.
This particular unit was...
There were a few cancellations from Glasgow on the afternoon of Saturday the 9th March. The 1730 departure from Glasgow to London was packed and the train was declassified. I got off at Lancaster where there must have been a couple of hundred Wrexham fans boarding an already packed...
They were next to the ticket barriers, plus they were occupying the concourse area of the station. They were not outside the station premises and the gate staff looked as though they were turning a blind eye or trying to avoid a confrontation.
I agree with the right to protest but what I don't...
Please remove if I break any forum rules.
I've just arrived at Bradford Interchange from Leeds to be confronted by Palestinian protesters at the ticket gates.
While I respect the right to protest I also respect the right for passengers who are leaving the Interchange not to be harassed by loud...
