I've noticed a slight problem with the livery of 142 003. They've accidentally used the Transport for Greater Manchester logo, introduced in 2011, rather than the GMPTE logo, so the whole thing looks anachronistic.

Sure, but what most of the drivers and others are saying on here is common sense and eloquently put, rather than just coming off as rude and attacking others for having a differing opinion. "I think he should have been locked up" vs. "The "brothers" sticking up for an idiot"

Intercity Swallow is very classy, but it's also easily dated. The first step is to realise that dated does not = bad, necessarily, just not appropriate for something new. So the obvious tells that Swallow / RR is very late 1980s are typical design cues, lots of sharp angles, dark grey's and...

Eh? Regional Railways and even Intercity's final branding (as good as it is) screams 1980s. The double arrow / Rail Alphabet does have a timeless quality and actually (as trends have come full circle) is bang on trend. I mean it uses serif fonts, for crying out loud.

Honestly, I look back at the original British Rail redesign manual and even now it strikes me how clean, easy to understand, and even modern it looks. It was flat design before it was trendy. It's a design language and brand scheme that has survived well beyond BR for a reason. It works, really...

I think the yellow end is optional with approval, if the relevant lights are in place, but even some new units have retained them, it may simply be that company's policy / choice to retain them?

I think it's a bit early to call bull on one person's post, especially given the inner end has had the gangway removed and been painted in warning panel yellow. Seems likely they're just going to convert it into a cab end.

In an interview on NYMR's YouTube channel, Portillo states just that. They send a helicopter out to film trains on the planned routes, but if there's a change in the expected rolling stock, or it's a double unit instead of a single unit, or various possible stock is used on that route, etc...

Asking to see MatB1 as proof of pregnancy is standard practice, I don't see why she's outraged - without checks for these things, anyone could just wander into First Class and claim to be pregnant.

Honestly, the correct answers to these questions are fairly common-sense. If you're not sure of the answers to any of them, I'm pretty worried.
