    NON safety-critical medical

What role was that? I think my BMI was OK in the end, my understanding is that Station Manager has not long been downgraded to non safety-critical. --- old post above --- --- new post below --- Can't speak for certain but if you play sport and don't eat the worlds worst diet you should be...

    Colas rail vacancies

I applied for one a month or two ago. Spoke to HR and they said they'd passed my application on and would be in touch within a week. Surprise surprise nobody was in contact and the job was extended yet again!

    NON safety-critical medical

A big thanks to all. If anyone's interested, I passed my medical today and will now be Station Manager at London Victoria from February. Medical was a hearing questionnaire, blood pressure, urine test, height, weight, vision test and a few more questions. Can't wait to start!

    NON safety-critical medical

Cheers for the insight. Was this for a safety-critical role at all? Of the parts you've mentioned, I was only told by HR that I would undertake a urine test, drugs and alcohol test (guessing that's just the urine test?), ECG test and height/weight/BMI etc. Also - based on what HR told me it...

Severn Beach line - information required

I've not seen a gronk down there myself either. Colas 66s/70s haven't been down for some months, as their Ratcliffe-Gloucester-Portbury-Ratcliffe diagrams haven't run for a while. Interestingly enough, the new timetable release sees a new 'Binliner' working going through Clifton Down and...

    Nuclear powered trains

Anything DRS, so 20/37/57/66. It won't be 47s, as their last active 47 has been put in the stored pool. It has once or twice been a 68 with another class. However it won't be 20s for a while, they've been on RHTT duties and are out of service at Barrow Hill, with the exception of 20304 (long...

Thanks all. It will be a good 12 days without alcohol so guessing I should be fine then.

    NON safety-critical medical

Hi all, I've seen a lot on here about safety-critical medicals, but not much about non safety-critical medicals, which are scaled down. I believe it contains ECG, height weight and BMI, and a urine sample. I wondered if anyone knows what type of urine testing is involved in these types of...
