    The other site it mentions is the VW van franchise, SMG. That is a very large plot looking on Google Earth. The entrance is in Landsdowne Road.

    This service did have class 377's but they were replaced by the 313's around the end of 2010. I think it was a Dft decision.

    The driver's side window looks more symmetrical on the 710 & 720, it always looks odd to me on the 345 being at a slight angle from the horizontal.

    From the comments on that video it seems the Velim circuit has suffered a spate of graffiti attacks recently, including some of the Greater Anglia 755's.

    Actually in the technical video the Vivarail man said the underframes are also Aluminium on the D78. The PEP derived units, 313, 314, 315, 507 & 508 have Aluminium bodies on steel frames.

    I thought they were supplied by Kiepe? I know the new Northern CAF Civity Class 331 use TSA motors & they supplied Traction Alternators for the Hitachi IET's. I think Stadler use them as well.

    There's another video taken at Bo'ness where the Vivarail chap is explaining the technicalities to interested passengers, he said the motors were AC supplied by TSA TraktionSysteme Austria.

    I just wondered because In the old days most car paint was cellulose based but these days cars use water based paints with a lacquer finish coat.
