Help/advice at ticket office denied due to tickets purchased from another retailer

Indeed. And demanding names or sticking cameras in people's faces prejudices any proper investigation.

Help/advice at ticket office denied due to tickets purchased from another retailer

Why did you need "a name" ? Just report it, it won't take too long for the management to work out who was on the roster at whatever particular time. Aside and alas there are elements in TOC retail management who push an agenda that the only criteria the staff should be judged on is when they're...

Nailsea to Caerphilly valid only via Newport

I believe this was part of "any permitted" being withdrawn and replaced with a dot (.) in its place. That was unworkable or the like and something else had to go in the route space on the ticket.

Departure boards LNER - ‘Place small and medium sized bags overhead or under seats’

This nonsense shouldn't be on vertical departure screens, if there are delays it uses up lines on the screens and people can't see the trains that are actually running and on time.

Cross Country ITAL Settlement Offer - help requested!

You choose "TOD" on the ticket issuing system when doing the sale and the customer gets a receipt that acts as authority to travel to the first location with a ticket vending machine. 1775074174 It was a financial choice by the further away from London TOCs to have PRT only.

The PRT (Paper roll ticket) wouldn't have worked on the underground- it would have to be...

Railcards users to face additional checks when buying tickets

I've been meaning to say on this thread that a lot more people have their railcards checked than they think. With a lot of ticket sales through the Trainline (spit) these days there's the point to be made that on the top of a ticket shown from their app it will say "Show Railcard" which it will...

Travel incident report- mistakenly use 16-17 saver instead of 16-25 railcard

Few things I will say- Did you buy your "ticket to be safe" before wherever you boarded the bus in the "valley". Where did you board the bus ? And how old are you and do you own any railcard ?
