Yep I've been told that - trouble is I'm loyal to my union, and RMT is my union. Will just have to reap the whirlwind. In my depot there are a few RMT drivers, so at least I'm not alone.

An Ipad or electronic tablet to have e copies of all drivers publications is a lifesaver compared to lugging round all your books in your bag. Also used for company training and communications. Obviously not switched on while in charge of a train or in a unsecured cab!
