Ok - a reasoned post that has taught me a little more than I knew before. thank you for your time.
Are there any countries in the region that treat Jews in a similar fashion to that which you have described? Open question really - I don;t expect you to reply yourself.
I suspect that there are...
Yes I do S.A. iwas a racist state pre1994.
I do not think Israel is a racist state in a similar way.
I do not think it operates on similar grounds . Can you give examples to explain the point you are attempting to make?

True in your opinion.
It is not in Israel's remit to deny...
I don't think it is entirely fair to say Israel is a racist and Islamophobic state.
It is similar to saying that Palestine is an antisemitic state which would be inaccurate. This of course is only my own opinion and I respect your right to your opinions on Israel.
Thank you for your reply.
I would agree with evil but am not sure they are necessary if we are ever to see people able to live peacefully in that part of the world.
We are very lucky to have the governments we do
Even if it does not feel like it at times.
Are Hamas in Palestine not similar to Isis in Iraq and Syria?
Do the majority of Palestinians support Hamas and their actions or are they being coerced similarly to people under the Isis regime a few years ago?
But that seems likely to be the truth.
I don't understand why there should be a problem mentioning that Jewish people might be suspicious of groups that contain antisemitic people. In my opinion they have every right to be suspicious of such groups.
The post asked if jewish people in the UK might begin to feel that it might be motivated by antisemitism.
I think that it would be quite reasonable to wonder if some people protesting against Israel's actions are motivated by antisemitism.
I also don't think it shuts down debate to ask this...
Maybe we have never suffered a 'pannier bomb' outrage because railway platform staff are foiling all of the attempts.*
*Unaware if panniers were checked in Vietnam or Coventry in 1939.
None of the above really.
I do prefer polite conversation rather than hatred and loathing but each to their own.
Do you feel the same about Tony Blair for all of the lives that he affected?
