I think there's a few like 60065 which haven't been refurbished but haven't been stored that long i.e 2015. I'm not sure on 004/014/018 but they appear to be some of the last of the class to be stored (could be wrong). I think DB may get more interest if they offer to overhaul them into super 60s

Great news although I wonder if they will all be overhauled with a new power plant or run a mixed fleet? If it’s for the long term I’d suggest overhaul them all, although some of the Fertis livery units likely just need a service.

Has it actually been confirmed they will be using Class 56's with the EMD engine? I'm guessing that the Colas 60's will see an end to that pipe dream will it not?

Such as shame DB won't let GBRf overhaul the 60s at Brush. Why would they insist on only them overhauling the 60s? guessing GBRf found it might of been cheaper getting the locos overhauled by Brush. Maybe DB were making a healthy profit selling the loco and overhauling them and didn't see much...

I've always wondered what the service intervals are like when it comes to diesels? i.e oil changes after so many hours ? are engines ever flushed? any additives thrown in? Presumably say something like a class 47 would benefit from higher cetane diesel?
