How did today go for everyone? Looking forward to joining you all a week today on the next course.

That is the first start date, the second group are starting the week after. Their induction is at Crewe for a week, then it's off to Ferrybridge for the rest of the training.

+1. Totally agree with everything posted here. It sets a nasty president. One of the ongoing costs of a company is recruitment, to pass this on to the applicants is poor. Their sorting process should be good enough to sift out the really poor applicants, the rest should be their cost to...

Interesting. I'm one of the new trainees and my contract states 28 days inc the 8 days bank holidays. Are us newbies on worse contracts????

Like I said, this is their preferred start date, but FLHH themselves have not completely set this in stone. Within a few days we'll all know by letters in the post anyway. Please rest assured I've got this on *very* good authority. F1Fan.

It's difficult to be 100% certain, but I'm fairly sure our start date is Monday 18th Nov. Should be confirmed by an offer letter in the post imminently. F1Fan.

Just phoned up FLHH HR to ask for an update (had my managers interview 2 weeks ago.) Got told the lady who is dealing with this is out of the office now till Thursday. (Doing interviews I presume) Guessing we will all hear at the end of this week. F1Fan.
