Weaver Line to Stansted Airport "not via London" - valid on Victoria Line?

Hello, Would appreciate some advice on ticket validity. I travel every now and then from the Cheshunt/Enfield Town branch of the Weaver line to Stansted Airport. The quickest way for me to do this is to change to the Victoria line at Seven Sisters for a one stop hop to Tottenham Hale. I have...

Porterbrook moans about new franchises ordering new trains

You assume I don't. Obviously I'm not a regular poster on these forums, but I do read them a fair amount. In general I find that this site has lots of very well informed commentary. A notable exception to this is the mythology surrounding how DfT award franchises. It is really not that...

    Thameslink/ Class 700 Progress

According to Modern Railways, the Aventras on West Anglia LO services will have entirely longitudinal seating. So even more "metro" than the ones on Crossrail or the S8s.

Greater Anglia Livery/train liveries in general

315809 now has Abellio seat covers, which is surprising. I thought these units would just be left to decline until the LOROL/MTR Crossrail takeover. EDIT: Apologies for being an archetypal newbie. Just realised that there's a thread on this already...
