Hi, an interesting question, I searched on Google and found out it was "I Believe" by Frankie Laine. :cry:

There had been talk of holding on to some units for conversion to run with the '72 stock on the Bakerloo if the line were to be extended back to Watford Junction. My guess though is that nearly all will be sold for scrap.:(

Gavelex, I suggest you search the DD forum for the past thread on the subject of air con in the cab. It shouldn’t be too hard find; after all you are a member of the said forum!!!!!!!!!!!!

T/Op’s and passengers are divided on this subject. I believe the natural airflow we had on the older stock trains is still the best solution.

OK, BUT, we’re talking UK. here, probably just a few warm weeks in summer. Is it all really worth it? As for the pipe, the coolest trains in 1999 were the ‘59s on the Northern Line! BTW My Favourite stock, 1938 TS.:wink:

My guess is this long awaited project is on the back burner again. Can anyone confirm this.
