I think IanfromNYC applied the same time as me which was for the advert that closed on 28th Oct 2013 (correct me if I'm wrong).
According to Resourcing the volume of candidates that got through the first sift was so high that the assessment invites had to be split.
Resulting in some like...
Strange.
I have been to a Conductor Assessment with Southern and the invite for that included Practise Material (Concentration, Trainability, Ticket Selling, Ticket Checking and Role Play). As well as a covering letter with date and venue that doubled up as a travel pass.
I would have...
No date yet. Just had a conversation with a guy in resourcing and was told I should get an invite before the end of this month.
Did you get any practise material? If there's a verbal comprehension test it might be worth giving it some extra attention. I've heard it can be quite tricky.
Sorry, I haven't been for a driver assessment yet. Just been told that I should be invited by the end of the month, so I'm behind you.
I do know that Southern use the paper Group Bourdon for Conductor assessments though.
I applied for London Depots advert that closed on 28th Oct 2013. I have been told that due to volumes, assessments had to be batched and I am due to get an invite before end of March 2014.
It'll be worth the wait..... Hopefully.
Mine's on there but not completely. I've posted already the full details of how I got to this point. but after phone calls and emails from me to Resourcing I was sent an email with a link and some instructions which I had to act upon by today.
I clicked on the link and it gave me an abridged...
Re account log in/loss problems.
Got an e-mail today telling me to re register (again). The e-mail also contained a link with some instructions.
Registered then went back to the e-mail, hit the link, put in a few details and my application now appears in my newly re registered log in.
Still...
No, but I did get two positive responses today:
1. A very helpful man answered the phone today. He found my application on their system, told me it was still being considered and I would be contacted in due course. He also said that there are a few teething problems with new system and one of...
Yes. Looks like the there's a problem with the accounts database. Initially it looks like you've got your password wrong but I have tried to request a password reset and it doesn't recognise my email address.
Sit tight for a while it should be something that they can restore.

Thanks. Probably did myself down. I didn't realise you could pick all four depots and have for some reason got a cross for just choosing Selhurst even though I only live 20 mins away. I didn't get a cross against the later question about distance at time of application though so assumed that...
Hello.
I've got three questions. Any answers would be greatly appreciated.
1. Is there anybody else who has a status of 'invite to assesment centre (via assessment centre)' but hasn't actually got an invite yet and you got anything out of Southern about when the invite might come?
2...
I too had heard nothing. My application status was 'invite to assessment centre. ' before the website overhaul. Everyone else seemed to be getting invites by email and I thought my application was lost.
However. I've now been sent this email; which I am taking as a positive as I only...
