This was the case when the trains were first introduced. Today, the doors open approximately 4 seconds after the train comes to a halt, with an audible warning in between. Can’t see how it can be any faster?

Will the segregated path be single or double track? If single, will that limit the service frequency to something less than the current “summer peak” of every 15 mins?

Opportunity Charging presumably has a dependency on buses not running late? With little or no time to recharge at a terminus or risk gaps in frequency - or having to add buses and therefore higher operating costs…Seems a big dependency in a congested city like Edinburgh.
