    The 2 car 175 on Exeter to Penzance mid afternoon was dangerously overcrowded on Monday. I boarded at Teignmouth and had to get off at Newton Abbot. Many refused to board there. Serious questions need answering Heidi!

    Time for a rethink on the Class 802 being based at Laira- perhaps. Class 800 looks to the layman more robust or Dawlish proof.

    Merseyrail Class 777 travel experiences

    I tried 777004 to Kirkby and back yesterday. The main gripe was the air-con was not working in the passenger saloon. Driver's cab was definitely blowing cold air though. Some PIS screens were stuck not working correctly either. For balance much better than a 508.

    May 2022 Timetable Changes

    It is an average 49 minute wait at Carlisle for the following Glasgow Avanti. Not really a good option. However it is about a 12 minute fester at Lancaster with same platform transfer to the TPE Glasgow service.
