378209 has never been to widnes yet. 378209 had some number changes prior to GOB electrification as a 4-car, then it had a poppy wrap more recently, and vehicle numbers were on the side and nose end numbers reinstated. only had an partial internal upgrade.

Yes 209 returned to standard so no variations on position of numbers now 15 year repaint is underway.
Re blue doors - will be a large amount blue, but some orange left. Only one pair of doors each side.

All previous units were completed at ilford. The units will be going there for corrosion, repainting outstanding repairs and gangway overhaul. all seats are completed. other discussions are ongoing in regard to scope.

originally you were right with 8005 and 8006 being the first units, and then we raised it to 6 units with 4 in service and another two spare. the unit were 8005/8006; 8011/15 and 8007/13...
