Each light in turn on stock that only has one headlight on. I’m not sure about newer stock that run with both headlights on. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was ruled not to be drivers fault from looking at that video.

I was quite surprised to see the ffcctv leaked out so soon. Looks like the train has its hazard warning lights flashing so perhaps it’s not what most people are expecting.

IIRC it had just had a refurb. When it was put back together someone had forgotten to put a strap around the coupler arms.

Harrow is different though as there was fog.

It’s a user worked crossing leading to a farm rather than a through road. It does get reported and it used to be a common occurrence that trains would stop and close them.

Sadly an incident a martins lane crossing has been years in the making. The gates are forever being left open. It’s about time they removed it all together.

Used to happen all the time, especially if the bulb in the pa button was very dim or the sun was shining on it: The yellow button would be pressed and turn on the PA, you’d have to press it again to turn off the PA. The white button was just a beeper to contact the driver.

They went to Allerton after that one was installed, ending the cushty number.

They’re supposed to be checked on a prep, but given how dirty some are it’s clear that they aren’t.

I will be interested to know what the report says about that last sentence. In my opinion training quality has certainly diminished in the last decade.
