When I took the CBI for my TOC, I made sure I did my homework. I knew my answers were based around the competencies that the interviewers were looking for and were structured enough to allow for further probing or discussion at this stage if they so desired.

You haven't failed the process, instead you'll be put on hold until they need a spot filling.

Make sure you do lots of research on Northern and learn as much as you can about the company.

It would be nice if there was a guarantee of a job at the end of passing the assessments.
Unfortunately that's not the case. There's always the prospect of the 'talent pool' if a job offer doesn't come through.
