    Changing an advance ticket woes.

That is the very document I got my information from, but it is a lot more than just a very small minority. There are 142 Scotrail controlled stations listed, and 55 of them have the 'Scottish bookings only' marker.

    Changing an advance ticket woes.

Quite a few stations that are run by the current keyholders of the Scotrail franchise are advertised as issuing tickets to Scottish destinations only.

Summerston to Glasgow BR- valid via Anniesland?

How could the season ticket holder make the journey from Summerston to Glasgow Central if they couldn't travel via Anniesland?

    Unsigned Debit Cards

Do you still get a £50 reward if you confiscate a card on the orders of the card company as a result of a Code 10 call?

Edinburgh trams 'fine' (known as "standard fare")

One thing has puzzled me here and I'm surprised that nobody else has picked up on it either. When Railboy 'validated' his pass at the tramstop, surely the validator would have given some sort of indication as to whether the pass was valid or not. Surely if it said the pass wasn't valid, the...

    Trivia: Retreating stations

Balloch (Formerly Balloch Central) was resited just short of the level crossing that the original station was beyond. This enabled the level crossing to be abolished. This happened at least a couple of years after Balloch Pier closed.

    TVMs and Privs...

Another option that would only require a software modification to the machines is to have ones priv entitlement cards issued as 'chip & pin' cards. The menu for priv tickets could then only be made to appear once the card has been inserted and PIN verified.

Faulty TVM and obtaining a refund from uncollected tickets

Breaking journey at Birkenhead Hamilton Sq

You're right there. Ticket offices on virtually every station, open from before the first train till after the last train every day. What a novel idea. I wonder why other TOCs don't try that too.
