On West Coast Railways website, there is an announcement (29th April) that The Jacobite Afternoon Trips are cancelled between 6th May and 13th May. Apparently this is due to a debate with rail regulator. They also give their version of the dispute below!

Not sure what train that is, but Thameslink trains DO have a light on the roof pointing to the pantograph. I think it is on even if the pantograph is down. It is very obvious at City Thameslink Station.
Surely it is obvious. Bicester MOD is clearly where the legendary strategic steam reserve is located and I expect the Class 37 is being used to shunt the hidden steam locomotives around to help keep their motion working and not seize up.
I cannot think of any other explanation.
