have to agree 100% with you - although the service now only runs from crewe to derby its still an hour+ journey,a couple of years ago i had the misfortune to travel in the evening on a 153 from derby to kidsgrove and the one and only toilet on the train was out order - possibly not that unusual...

maybe we shouldn`t be too surprised at the combustible nature of the 70`s and 90`s - there`s only a small difference between freightliner and firelighter!

not sure about which are officialy closed but living in north staffs since the virgin inspired upgrade both etruria and norton bridge are closed and i think wedgwood and barlaston are only served by bus now - such is progress!!
