    There were definitly problems at Hanley station with the curve radius and as I recall larger locos and Mk 1`s were barred from normal use, however it was used for diversions when the mainline was closed so not to bad I guess,

    Having followed a lot of the "rants" on the subject of gantries I really fail to see the problem unless you would prefer a smoky steam train of course with the smoke and smuts on washing or of course you could have the 8 lane motorway if you prefer. Its progress and has to be better than diesels...

    They wont learn try getting any form of training if youre over 40 let alone 50 all thats on offer is Englisg, Maths, IT to level 2 ie CSE level. You want anything else better have deep pockets to pay for it youre self. Many HGV 1 drivers are packing it in rather than do a week long course...

    As I push my partner in a wheelchair I would avoid Islip thats a 450 yard push from car park up slope across road bridge and back down new ramp thats hardly easy or convient and wet if raining.

    Network rail Class 43 and a class 67 with the 43 leading passing Longton on the Derby Stoke line. On their way to Crewe I guess, just odd to see a single 43 coupled with a 67. No camera damn it.
