Some excellent photos Stacey. As you say it was annoyingly cloudy at times on the Sunday.
I visited both Saturday and Sunday, spending most of the time on the lineside.
An excellent gala. My photos can be found in the link below for those interested...
Hi all
For those interested in the industrial scene, I have uploaded a new collection of photos taken on a brake van ride around Corus Scunthorpe last Saturday. I would highly recommend a visit there (contact Brigg Tourist Information Centre, 01652 657053)...

Hi James
67028 had worked the ECS from London Victoria to Orpington, where the train then reversed, with Tornado then hauling the Orpington to Grove Park leg, the 67 then being on the rear.
Hope this clarifys

Following yesterday's railtours employing 60163 'Tornado' in London, the loco ventured deep into South Eastern territory just before Midnight, when it reversed at Orpington during its 5Z97 2257 London Victoria to Grove Park empty stock working. A picture from Orpington can be found at...

Hi
Not much running in Kent today due to the large amount of snow, but I was lucky to come across 73212 towing a GLV at Petts Wood. A few images taken during more heavy snow at:

Hi all
It certainly was cold there yesterday, but well worth the effort.
I have uploaded some lineside photos (day lineside passes cost £10 from
Toddington booking office) from the Diesel Day.
If interested they can be found at:

Hi all
Here is a slightly different view of 37423 and Caroline taken from the car park at Gravesend yesterday, as they headed for Grain (2Z03 1321 from London Bridge)

Hi - thanks for the comments.
If you log onto the Spa Valley Railway website you will find a loco roster for July and August.
I couldn't see any other running dates for the Pannier, plus nothing on their 'news' pages about it's visit.
Might be best to try and telephone the railway...
