Great, Thanks for the help. I'll get my self a Farringdon ticket. Not only will i be able to travel to London bridge and farringdon but will save myself £500 per year. I which i realised this 5 years ago.

Hi, I am about to buy my next annual season ticket. I travel to London Bridge and Farringdon from Hassocks, so I have been buying a London Terminals ticket. However they told me that farringdon is not a London terminal. So if i buy a farrringdon ticket can i still get on at london bridge...

It sounds like I will not have too much extra trouble getting from Hassocks to London bridge on the bml.

I got a leaflet at london bridge. 70 capacity to 88 on the trains. That is roughly 3 extra seats per year of redevelopment. It is unclear if there will be many more trains from Brighton (hasssocks)

The southern services will still stop at London Bridge I think. So we will not be completly screwed on the Brighton line.

I do love hassocks. There was a helicopter searching for kids on the school roof recently. It Ooss like an episode of the wire living here.

Having spent three weeks commuting from hassocks I now know that the 422 express is the king of the london to Brighton line. The 319 is the poorper.

The trains with express written on the sides are great. Does anyone know how i can travel on these. I don't mind changing too much especially if it is early on.

Great advice, I always like to micro manage my travel. I am really looking forward to moving to Hassocks, I love walking and the southdowns. I also hate the Waterloo and city line which (in three weeks time) I will never have to use again. Happy days Thanks

I thought they were all 12 coach trains on that line. Are the 377s 3 x 4 coaches?

Great info. Those will be my trains. Coming back would be the 17:42 , 17:59, 18:12, 18:27 and if I am lucky the 16:57. I guess I will need to learn where to stand on the platform to get on the 2+2 seats. Or do you mean some trains are all 2+2 and some all 3+2 seats. Thanks for the awesome advice

So if I get on at hassocks I would be on a 377 or the dreaded 422. Hopefully not too many of those at rush hour.

How do you know this stuff d1009, i assume you must be a commuter. Do you know Which trains fork off at bhill to lewes.
