The loading gauge is bigger in places. Look at the size of a 201 compared to a Mk3 and the width of a Dart or DD coach. It is much smaller than mainland Europe obviously. I like the idea off pairs of coaches. The troubles must still be in people's minds. Makes it easy to swap out coaches in a set.
