    Southern Class 319 units.

When were they painted into the current Southern Rail green livery? I notice from images that some were still in the Connex yellow/white colours into 2005.

Crew changes on Cross-Country and long distance (inter) Regional services

Looking at the locations of the driver depots the Wales and West long distance services must've swapped from a Welsh crew to a Wessex Trains crew at Bristol and then again at Exeter St Davids, as they had a driver depot there rather than Plymouth. However that does mean someone had to drive...

Weird Places for Services to Terminate

I would've also thought Anderston is an odd place to start/terminate as well, especially as most of those services go to/from Dalmuir/Milngavie.

Weird Places for Services to Terminate

There were some Kings X to Huntingdon terminators a few years ago.

Crew changes on Cross-Country and long distance (inter) Regional services

So there was no driver change at York/Leeds or Sheffield? I thought there would be a driver change between Birmingham and Newcastle.

Weird Places for Services to Terminate

South West Trains used to have services from Waterloo terminating at Wareham, and more recently Brockenhurst.

Trivia - Shortest train services in the UK

Is it the Brockenhurst to Lymington branch line service?

Crew changes on Cross-Country and long distance (inter) Regional services

For services that cover multiple regions, where and how many driver or crew changes. I'm mainly thinking about CrossCountry/Virgin XC as well as Central Trains and East Midlands Trains regional services. For example the Nottingham to Cardiff (or Worcester/Hereford in Central Trains days) and...

Trivia: What are the quirkiest railway stations in Britain?

Dalmarnock in the Glasgow area looks odd, it is between 2 tunnels and partially underground/in a tunnel.

Glasgow suburban services rolling stock differences

What usually works this service? The Carstairs services are morning and evening peak only are they not?

Glasgow suburban services rolling stock differences

What about when the Lanark services were run through Glasgow Central Low Level towards Dalmuir/Milngavie?

Glasgow suburban services rolling stock differences

Yes, I know, but for most of their service life they were restricted to 75 mph. Wasn't it around 2010-11 they were uprated? 1741726453 I see, I thought services using the Class 318 and 334 would be timed for 90mph. Does having 75mph EMUs on the same line not have an effect on WCML fast...

Glasgow suburban services rolling stock differences

The class 320 was originally limited to 75mph, so what happened on the Lanark/Carstairs services before the max speed was increased to 90mph? Also what about Coatbridge Central terminating services, would this just be a 314/320 due to the lower speed limit?

Glasgow suburban services rolling stock differences

By Glasgow suburban I mean services on the Arygle, Whifflet or North Clyde lines. As there are multiple services with different start and end points and different maximum speeds, are different types of EMU preferred for different end to end services? For example, some Argyle line services...

There are a few, I went from Bristol to Brighton on a train that came from Great Malvern, that was one long journey about 3.5 hours, and this was back in 2014.
