    Let's not forget that they spent two million quid on the consultation alone regarding the layout inside the train. This included train crew, controllers, signallers, managers and even cleaners were asked and this, the 700 we are seeing now, is what everyone agreed with in the final design so...

    Hi Andrew. It's down to the driver and what the signaller does. When I have driven empties with stops for timing I have just kept going through. If you get too far ahead of yourself the signaller will stop you somewhere further up and make you wait until you get back on your booked time...

    Still the problem with the brakes which is putting everything back which means the first one in passenger service will be in April now.

    It's not got its certificate yet to go out on the main line. It's not far off though. If it would have been this week it would have gone up to Blackfriars as I mentioned earlier, the main line has a block on all week!

    Who says we don't?!?!? Anyhow, few questions if anyone could oblige. When is the next one due? is it true the first five over will be split up like the first one but will have to go back, and will the drivers be learning 73's? Cheers. :)
