Hi, loads of stuff on here.
Folks do tend to shoot you down if you've not done the legwork first (which is fair enough really).
try sticking:
"site:railforums.co.uk DMI" or "site:railforums.co.uk DRIVER MANAGER INTERVIEW"
in google first, absorb the heaps of info you'll find in...
Hey Joof. Massive congrats fella!!.
I remember battling with you for the FTPE positions last year. Ironically, have just followed in your footsteps and put in for Northern (Sheffield) this week so hopefully the same path'll be a good 'un for me too :p
Enjoy sir.
Don't quote me on it fella, just an observation. If someone who's gone for Manchester/Liverpool/Sheffield pipes up with an interview date that'd change things.
Still only York out of the 4 depots that've had any final interviews at all yet it seems (correct me if i'm wrong guys and gals). The process is perhaps lagging behind across the whole franchise. Worse case scenario, move over there next time the day you apply ;-) Chin up!
Bloody 'ell hutch. Gutted for you, there'll be many a kick in the proverbials trying to secure a driving job though fella. Doesn't sound like a dead end - might even work in your favour in the long run. Which depot?
Not this time round yet. Hit the crossbar earlier in the year.
Reading through stuff on this forum i'd say mine was a bit unusual as it lasted 2hrs. How long were you in?.
Damn right, we should all be pretty good at the waiting bit by now. Not sure where but pretty sure someone said they were more accommodating than Northern for example on that sort of stuff. Anyways, good luck fella!
Yep you're right, definitely. Let's be frank - that's the main point of the exercise to highlight people who are perhaps more focused than others and who are likely to be well suited to coping with the undoubted visual fatigue.
