Since this is Speculative Discussion…
Curtail the EMR service at Manchester and drop the Sheffield call, going round the Dore curve instead.
Increase TPE South to 2tph. Second train going as far as Doncaster, not Cleethorpes, and would probably need to replace the New Mills stopper...
Two weeks ago I asked the Shrub Hill ticket office for a day return to Cheltenham Spa. I was (without asking) sold a GWR-only ticket. I only realised this looking at the ticket on the way back - at which point I was already on an XC service to Worcestershire Parkway. Fortunately the ticket...

They absolutely have not. It is no more made with AI than the new East Coast timetable is, whether or not you personally like the cartographic choices / the stopping pattern at Retford.
Poking around in the source and the HTTP requests, the map appears to be constructed with a vector tile...
Central Trains fare reductions in their early days. Short distance under £5, medium distance under £10, long distance under £20. No gimmicks, no advances, just sensibly priced walk-up fares to drive ridership.

Aylesbury to Claydon West Junction is 11.5 miles. Including a stop at Aylesbury Vale Parkway, let's say 18 minutes.
Claydon West Junction to Milton Keynes Central is timetabled at 23 minutes.
So that's...
Whether or not there have been posters at New Street for months or minutes, it is very customer-hostile that every single major station appears to be setting its own rules. 40 seconds at New Street, 30 seconds there, a minute somewhere else, and so on (and that's before we get onto Kings Cross's...
Direct trains from everywhere to Newcastle are a lovely thing to have, but right now people are regularly being left on the platform at Oxford because there simply isn't any standing room on the hourly service to Banbury. Compare to York–Newcastle which is 5tph for much of the day.
One extra...
