I had one years ago, I can remember it was safety focussed, asking me to talk through a station and what would be a risk to people, what to look out for to keep people safe etc.
Another one about handling passenger queries and when have I worked with the general public. How can I travel to work...
People overthink for the MMI, so long as you follow the STAR method and have a good selection of examples to use for occassions you have followed rules, acted under pressure, handled an emergency or something similar or comparible, you'll be fine!
Depends when you passed them? I passed mine with DB Cargo in June 2022. Walked away quite happy about it, ended up being a lost cause. I'd also applied for TPE. I got rejected, spoke to the manager who'd said they'd shortlisted me. TPE recruitment rejected me on the grounds I'd not met the...
The enhanced has got nothing to do with the service they provide so I've been told anyway, Avanti was national for a while I believe. I think the majority are enhanced now so more fail therefore leaving less people to sift through for interviews due to the sought after nature of these jobs!
As mentioned above, they put out a Q&A saying all current recruitment will continue as planned, even an email today saying reciprocal travel arrangements could be put in place with LNER, Northern and SE. So not all bad news.
Nah, they're different tests, shouldn't affect drivers tests. Worth checking though as TPE used to do an assessment centre for conductors, now it's all online.
The applications only closed a day or two ago after they readvertised. They've put a lot into this recruitment too so I imagine they have thousands of applications to go through. Wouldn't expect anything too quickly.
I don't know what constitutes as the Talent Pool, they told me on the day I'd passed and would be placed in a pool, then I'd have an interview and would either get a job or not. Whereas like Amy has said above this, she had an interview and got an email confirming the place. I've spoken to a...
And on the opposite end of the scale I passed my assessments last June, got told in August to keep an eye on my emails for an interview date as they were booking me one and then never heard anything and they've not replied to a couple of emails enquiring haha, shelved it now I'm just assuming...
Yeah I didn't recall seeing any details about distance on the initial application, so I replied to the survey email stating my distance was 65 mins, just had the email now to say they can't progress my application due to that.
I've not heard anything, I got the email for the survey asking for extra details, then another email saying thanks for filling in the details they will get back ASAP etc, then that was it. Can only assume I'm out of their catchment, as others are getting second tests.
There were more on the original advert, Manchester was included. I found it strange as when I applied half of them vanished and I thought I'd made a mistake but I went back to the original advert and grabbed a screen shot and they were still listed. Couldn't quite figure out which was correct...
I'd like to think if you were on a plan from an incident you'd be ineligible to be promoted until you come off the plan. However I've known the complete opposite to happen, so I'm also going to say no!
