Just been announced on the Liverpool Echo that the strikes have been called off.

In a bit of a dilemma as I booked lunch in Chester for Saturday a few days ago. Obviously I would now have to use TfW but are there likely to be boarding controls in place on these services if Merseyrail dos not run?

Thought the RMT had to give 2 weeks notice from the result of the ballot, if strike action was called for?

And no doubt will be standing room only for many or most of its passengers being only 5 car. Since when did Avanti start using 805's for LIV-EUS services when they are mainly for the North Wales services.

It's isn't actually. It seemed to worked another service back to Liverpool later in the day.
