Does anyone have any information regarding their pension. The application just says “a great pension”. Presumably it’s not part of the railway pension scheme?

Thanks for the reply. I don’t suppose you have any idea what the shift patterns are like now do you? With Sundays part of the working week would that come with any extra pay or just a flat rate?

Hi I had an email about a possible opening for New Cross Gate. I just wondered if anyone had information regarding this depot, and what it’s like to work for. Any idea what the shift pattern is like, Sundays inside/outside etc, annual leave? Thanks Eli

I would definitely say practice is key. I remember my first few goes getting about halfway down the page and only getting about 50% correct. After a few weeks of practicing a few a day I was down to the last few rows but getting 100% give or take the odd error. Practice practice practice. Good luck.

One more thing. I’ve completed all of the online stuff and sent off my signed contract. Is there anything else that should be expecting contact wise or is that it until nearer the start date? Just wondering if I need to check my emails every hour lol.

Looks as though people are getting their offers two months before their start which would be December for us. Just a thought

No idea where the course will be. The HR lady told me it will likely be varied locations based on what type of training.
