Great - will do that. Yes, the ticket was clipped - it has a number on the top right which doesn't mean a lot to me, but I guess will to them?
I'll let you know how it turn out! Thanks
Not sure I follow - what makes you think it's not valid via Bham? No-one has ever picked me up on it, when I first started doing the journey, the ticket collector said it was fine, and the only endorsement in the ticket is "TB", which is https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/TB
Nothing about "only...
Good morning!
Question about Delay Repay on RETFORD to CAERSWS (Mon 16th Sept)
Suggested route on a weekday is 4h39m and 3 changes
RET > SHEF > STOCK > SHREW > CWS
DEP 14:31 > arr 19:14= 4h43m
I don't know why they suggest this, as there is a valid route which is is 4h10 and 2 changes, and...
This is NOT a leave/stay debating point, just a simple factual question:
This quote from a local paper is all over my facebook and twitter timeline, from:

Got notifications this morning that someone had tried multiple (failed) attempts to get into my account. Good luck having my 130 bit password! Although now changed it, I got locked out a couple of times while I discovered what the character limit was.
Eventually I just went for a 30...
Even "The Left" appear to be turning against this megalomaniac fantasy project now...

I'd LOVE to see where you got that figure from. Meanwhile, back in reality:

Based on what? Name me 5 recent major government projects which have come in UNDER budget. Or, another way:
What percentage of government projects over £1bn since y2000 have come in on budget or under budget?
I'm really not sure I'm following your line on this. The whole case for High Speed ("It's not about High Speed") 2 is based on predictions and models of passenger growth and working patterns, including, as touched on before, bizarre assumptions like "people never do any work on the train" and so...
Think your clipboard must be running out of memory because it forgot to paste the bit below:
42.6 + 7.5 = ? Or are you proposing a railway without any trains on it?
And so? What are you saying there?
Where on earth have you plucked that figure from? The revised figure is at least £50bn, and that's the official spin. You can always at least double a government budget. I know, I know. We've had this discussion before. "This time it'll be different...
