Thanks for your reply. Good to know & yeah worth a try. Would be nice rather then it being a blanket fare on simply my home station to my work station, the reduced fare could be applied to part of the journey but dont hold out much hope but let's see!

I know it'll differ among tocs but roughly how much backpay are we expecting? People at my toc have worked out around 7k AFTER tax. Does that sound about right?
