Hi Alan777,
There was a depot ops course two years back that two dropped out before the course. Someone might fail the medical or choose another career so there might be hope.
Good luck!
Dave
Hi Ed,
I hear through the grapevine that you are on the next Depot op course with two others starting in January! :-)
If I can have an email address for you, I can send you my 'Guide' as long as you do not share it to anyone outside c2c (as it might harm my chances of being an instructor!)
Good...
No problem, Ed. Happy to help.
Once you have settled in, I have developed a 'guide' which will help you in your studies which I can send to you via email. Good Luck!
Dave
Hi Ed,
Sorry about that, brand new to the forum! I'm still at East Ham and unlike Shoeburyness, the Depot Ops and Mainline Drivers share a mess room. The atmosphere is great and everyone gets along well. Your work is easy (not busy at all!) and anyone at the depot will help and guide you...
Hi Guys,
We keep hearing different numbers at the mo, however, we do have four East Ham depot ops going up for mainline driving and possibly one Shoebury depot op although not confirmed. So, it's between four to eight depot ops needed with the majority at East Ham. Sorry I can't be of any more...
Hi Echodelta31,
I currently work at East Ham Depot. I started in April 2008 as a depot op then passed out as a Mainline Driver in Sept 2009. Sounds like you got the job with c2c. If so, message me, I have plenty of resources on the job and I will answer your questions you may have too...
