Which depot? I'm starting on April 18th, pending my medical, for Piccadilly.

I emailed for an update and they replied today to say there's no update and they're still awaiting feedback. In the meantime however, I've been offered a position with Northern and start on the 18th April, pending the Medical on the 7th!

They do say patience is a virtue! :)

They did say it should this week, but I'm not getting my hopes up just yet!

I did the same on an application for Conductor last year, and got through the sift fine, they're subject to the same rules around travelling time/distance.

I would't let the number of people bother you. If you've done well, then that's all that matters! We've all done well to get even this far! The guys who interviewed me said on or around the 8th, but then HR have said after the 12th. So things could change, you never know in this industry haha.

As I was on the edge of my seat all day yesterday, I thought I'd give them a ring and see when we'll probably hear. I was told it would be after the 12th when they've finished ALL the interviews. So just another few days it seems...

Northern ask on your application if and when you have done any assessments before, then they'll go away and check it!

Yeah for Northern. If anyone has passed the assessments for TPE then just keep an eye out :)

A DTM at Piccadilly has said there are no driver courses until at least June. But that could just be for this side of the Pennines. One of our friends has done her assessment internally from being a Guard, she's waiting for a course as they keep postponing it.
